About the Role

Bernstein Private Wealth Management is seeking client service-minded individuals for its Summer Intern program. Interns will collaborate with Financial Advisors to support the growth of the Private Wealth Management Platform, assisting with asset allocation, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth planning for high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Financial Advisors to provide service and support functions such as portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and client/prospect meeting preparation.
  • Complete ad-hoc business projects.
  • Focus on client service excellence, partnership and communication training to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Engage in career management, mentorship and one-on-one coaching.
  • Participate in networking opportunities and social outings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree candidates graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Strong leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Accomplished team players who thrive in a rigorous and challenging environment.
  • Client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Available to work full-time from June to August.
  • Must not simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that conflicts with the internship schedule.
  • Must successfully complete a thorough background check.
  • Must submit a HireVue video as part of the application process.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel are preferred.
  • Some coursework in finance and economics is preferred.
  • Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification is a valuable asset.
