About the Role

Join our Eqlipse Trading team to work on production trading systems for major financial institutions. You will help customers succeed by building and enhancing trading technology, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering software improvements. This role offers deep expertise in electronic trading, order management, and financial markets, with opportunities to leverage AI-powered development tools.

Responsibilities

Support Eqlipse Trading customers across the AMER region by investigating issues, providing technical guidance, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain Java-based trading applications using AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows.
Analyze production environments, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with global teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Work with trading protocols, market data, and order management workflows while building expertise in electronic trading systems.
Partner with customers and internal stakeholders across multiple regions to support service releases, integrations, onboarding activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of software development experience.
Strong Java programming skills.
Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and solving problems in complex application environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Interest in financial technology, electronic trading systems, and working directly with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Opencode, or Kiro.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, FIX protocol, order management systems, or capital markets technology.
Experience supporting customers, working with distributed systems, messaging middleware, or high-performance applications.
