About the Role

The Commercial Strategy & Planning team drives strategic growth by shaping and orchestrating commercial strategy. This role focuses on key strategic initiatives, offering exposure to various functions and the opportunity to impact the business directly. It's an ideal position for an early-career strategist to develop commercial and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior colleagues in developing and delivering long-term corporate strategy through research, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, briefing documents, and materials for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for departments including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Strategy, Finance, and Product, providing commercial insight and analytical support.
  • Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects across commercial, operational, and corporate teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, developing influencing and communication skills.
  • Gather and organize customer insights and feedback for strategy formulation.
  • Support the evolution of the commercial operating model by documenting processes and identifying improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business planning, go-to-market, or a related analytical role, or a consultancy/graduate scheme background.
  • Ideally with exposure to B2B or a similar strategic environment.
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to translate data and analysis into clear insights.
  • Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Some experience working with stakeholders across different business functions.
  • Genuine interest in developing influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Exposure to, or interest in, cross-functional projects involving people, process, or technology change.
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to manage workload and contribute confidently.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence to engage colleagues from operational teams to senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with commercial governance frameworks, operating models, or performance dashboards is a plus.
  • An interest in AI, automation, or digital tools for sales and marketing transformation is preferred.
