About the Role
This is Dust's first PM hire. You'll work closely with the product team, turning raw GTM signal, company priorities, and user feedback into well-formed problems the team can act on. You will create and run the process that connects signal to shaping to prioritization, translate company priorities into trackable initiatives, and enrich prioritized projects with business, user, and market context.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and synthesize feedback, turning high-volume, unstructured input into well-framed problems.
- Shape initiatives by translating validated problems into initiatives ready for Stack Rank, with clear objectives, KPIs, and scope.
- Drive outcome tracking, owning reporting on shipped features' impact and feeding insights back into decision-making.
- Improve internal coordination between Marketing, Comms, GTM, and Product to reduce friction.
- Own the goal for cross-functional initiatives, including objectives, KPIs, orchestration, and reporting.
- Own artefacts in the Dust platform (agents, skills, data, etc.) to continuously rewire and augment processes.
Requirements
- Founding PM mentality with the capacity to build product practices and be hands-on.
- 5–8+ years of product experience, including experience building process from scratch at an early-stage company.
- Genuine product taste with deep perspective, judgment, and conviction.
- Excellent information synthesis skills to distill messy input into sharp problems.
- Technical proficiency to understand systems and tradeoffs.
- Builder mindset, fluent with AI tools and excited about their potential for PM operations.
- Effective communication skills, prioritizing clarity.
- Comfort with distributed authority, influencing through reasoning.
- Ability to gather context, identify important problems, collaborate on approaches, and leave ownership with the team.
