About the Role

This client-facing role serves as an estate planning expert for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors. The Director, Advanced Planning will also support the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead in advisor training, regional business development, and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an estate planning expert for high net worth clients and their advisors.
  • Provide comprehensive financial and estate planning support.
  • Support advisor training, regional business development, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Planning team virtually and in-person.
  • Maintain and increase collective impact on clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with CPA, JD, M.T., or LLM in taxation preferred.
  • 10-12 years overall work experience.
  • 4 years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning, or succession planning experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 acquired within 90-days of employment.
  • Knowledge of Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation.
  • Proven emotional intelligence to effectively bond with and communicate with clients and their advisors.
  • Solution-oriented, client-first work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently, balance competing tasks, and prioritize work.
  • Maintain a positive professional demeanor.
  • Reside within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in CA, NV, or UT.
