About the Role
Assist guests in loading and unloading from the lift, ensuring their safety at all times. Conduct open and close inspections of the lift, perform regular track maintenance, and check tickets and season passes for validity. Verify appropriate ski & snowboard equipment and maintain the loading area of the lifts. Present yourself professionally, be friendly and outgoing, and work with guests to ensure a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests in loading and unloading from the lift
- Ensure the safety of guests at all times
- Conduct open and close inspections of the lift
- Perform regular track maintenance
- Check tickets and season passes for validity
- Check for appropriate ski & snowboard equipment (ski brakes, leashes, safety straps & baskets on poles)
- Maintain loading area of the lifts
- Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Be friendly and outgoing while presenting a courteous manner at all times
- Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory
- Assist with other duties as needed
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Must have a heightened sense of safety and ability to react quickly to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
- Must enjoy working outdoors
- Must have appropriate clothing for working in all weather conditions
- Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
- Must have weekend and evening availability and flexible weekday availability
