About the Role
As a key member of our CRM Product team, you will be instrumental in empowering our business user community with the processes and tools they need to drive transformational change. Your primary focus will be on the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce applications, custom components, and system integrations that support our evolving CRM initiatives. You are someone who is passionate about solving complex business and technology challenges through simple, user-centric solutions.
Responsibilities
- Takes ownership of key components and leads initiatives within their area of expertise.
- Translates complex business requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, and Lightning Components.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical implementation with business goals.
- Applies modern software development best practices, including iterative development, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and delivers high-quality, maintainable code.
- Actively explores and integrates innovative technologies such as AI and data tools to improve business outcomes.
- Contributes to a culture of knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement across the development team.
- Stays curious and adaptable, continuously learning to remain current with Salesforce capabilities and emerging industry trends.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in Salesforce development, ideally within the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) framework.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, with working knowledge of Java, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with API development and third-party system integrations.
- Familiarity with version control and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms.
- Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, including AI and data integration.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the work term.
- Successful candidate must receive clearance by a police background check, including the vulnerable sector screen.
