About the Role
E.K.G Security, Inc. is seeking highly attentive, vigilant, and driven full-time Security Officers for their New London, NC team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to make a real difference by protecting clients' properties and ensuring people's safety.
Responsibilities
- Actively patrol the property and identify suspicious activity.
- Maintain strict access control, monitor movements, and utilize equipment effectively.
- Be present and visible at all times, including greeting staff, guests, and vendors.
- Respond immediately to distress calls and panic alarms.
- Coordinate with other officers for comprehensive property coverage.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail.
- Impeccable character and high levels of integrity.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to quickly assess and evaluate situations.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software/systems.
- Ability to answer phones and operate a 2-way radio.
- Physical ability to walk stairs, carry up to 50 lbs., and sit/stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen, and Criminal Background Check required.
