About the Role

Deutsche Bank's Strategic Equity Transactions Group (SETG) structures, markets, and executes bespoke equity transactions for corporations, financial institutions, and high net worth individuals. The team operates on the private side, collaborating with Investment Banking coverage teams and product teams like Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance. SETG's products include convertible bond issuance, equity-linked financings, margin lending, and hedging, monetization, or stake accumulation strategies via corporate equity derivatives. The bank is in an exciting growth phase with a new corporate strategy focused on continued growth and investment in its Investment Banking & Capital Markets division.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships focused on equity capital markets issuances and opportunities.
• Create and deliver high-value financial analysis to targeted clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell bank products.

Requirements

• Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive product and market knowledge.
• Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue.
• Previous Equities experience.
• Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges and seizing opportunities as they arise.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to understand broad business issues, their potential implications and to make sound business recommendations.
• Dynamic, agile, highly motivated. Able to navigate, adapt and thrive in a constantly changing/evolving global bank.
