About the Role
The Digital Buyer supports clients in delivering best-in-class digital strategies and performance-driven media solutions. This role manages paid social programs, including evergreen and promotional campaigns, from strategy and execution to optimization and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Execute social and digital campaign strategies, analyze campaign performance, and perform optimizations.
- Make strategic recommendations that drive clients’ business objectives and resolve problems.
- Provide accountability for pacing and managing account budgets.
- Contribute ideas for best practices and adoption of new features or processes.
- Assist in creating and delivering campaign overview reports.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow the client's business and the account.
- Maintain knowledge of client's business, competition, and industry trends.
- Continuously learn and enhance skills related to performance media methodologies and platforms.
- Support the media team in managing client digital media, providing data, budgets, and details.
- Build client relationships, set expectations, and manage timelines for quality work.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of digital campaigns, communicating under/over delivery.
- Utilize key platforms to generate insights for wider team and client planning.
- Build relationships with platform partners and attend industry events.
Requirements
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of media planning and/or buying experience focused on digital channels (Social, Display, Programmatic).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with social platforms, media planning, and buying tools.
- Strong to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Aptitude for priority management with multiple deliverables/work streams.
- Ability to organize ideas and present information logically.
- Understanding of how Paid Search / SEM interacts with Display Media, Paid Social, and other traffic types.
- Familiar with Google Campaign Manager for trafficking and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with IAS for brand safety.
