About the Role
Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician as a 1099 independent contractor in the Brooklyn, New York area. This role offers schedule flexibility and the potential to earn $1,000 to $3,000 per week. Technicians will cover a 50-mile radius around Brooklyn.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, washers, dryers, Garage Door Opener, and more.
- Perform installations and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Provide professional communication with clients.
- Supply your own tools and vehicle.
- Carry liability insurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of diagnosing and repairing major household appliances.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own tools required for appliance repair and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Applicants with a valid General Contractor License will be prioritized.
