About the Role

TileBar is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and driven Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations and product flow across multiple categories. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, accurate inventory planning, and smooth coordination with international suppliers.

Responsibilities

Support demand forecasting and maintain accurate purchase orders for optimal inventory flow.
Monitor inventory levels, adjust for seasonality and sales trends, and execute daily procurement transactions.
Confirm product specifications, lead times, and shipping details for accurate and timely deliveries.
Collaborate with global suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely production and shipment of goods.
Track and manage purchase orders, resolving delays or discrepancies proactively.
Assist in executing vendor contracts, pricing agreements, and onboarding new suppliers.
Track supplier KPIs such as accuracy, service quality, and on-time performance.
Support the identification and evaluation of new sourcing opportunities, products, and international vendors.
Partner with Logistics, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
Monitor supplier invoicing accuracy and support timely financial reconciliation.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, or supply chain roles.
Experience in building materials, home improvement, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools.
Effective communicator with strong follow-through and collaborative approach.
Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with international sourcing, freight logistics, and vendor compliance.
Knowledge of product lifecycle management or SKU-level inventory management.
A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into more strategic procurement responsibilities.
