About the Role
Diamond Packaging is seeking a full-time Die Cutting Operator Assistant to support the setup and operation of equipment, ensuring quality, waste, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the set-up of jobs according to job ticket instructions and approved structure.
- Review job tickets for specifications, make-ready time, run speed, die information, quantity, ship date, and special instructions.
- Assist in running equipment at required speeds while maintaining quality, waste, and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including computer inputs.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs.
- Ability to stand for a continuous 8-hour period.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, job tickets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to maintain good attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
