About the Role
Provide comprehensive administrative support to students and academic staff, maintain accurate records, and deliver excellent service throughout the student journey.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full, accurate, and accessible records are kept for all student administration, liaising with other departments as necessary.
- Participate in student record processes and tasks, including updating the school’s management system (Unit-E) for student progress, withdrawals, suspensions, transfers, and appeals.
- Handle certificates, including recording, tracking, and release to students.
- Provide administrative support for appeals, disciplinary, and other Registry-related investigations.
- Assist other sections of the Registry as directed by the Line Manager.
- Undertake other tasks as and when required.
Requirements
- Experienced academic administrator with strong communication, customer service, and Excel skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in an academic administrative role is desirable.
- Sound understanding of educational processes and procedures is desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are desirable.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative are desirable.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desirable.
- Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines is desirable.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
