About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive in our NY Office (Hybrid) with deep experience in the US travel industry and a proven track record working directly with Virtuoso advisors, travel agencies, and the broader Virtuoso community. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who understands luxury travel, agency operations, and the unique dynamics of the Virtuoso network. You will lead commercial growth, expand agency partnerships, and drive adoption of our solutions across premium and luxury travel sellers. This is a strategic, externally facing role that blends sales, partnership development, and industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow a high-value pipeline of travel agency prospects, with a strong focus on Virtuoso-affiliated advisors and agencies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive adoption, revenue growth, and long-term partnership value.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with agency owners, managers, IC networks, and frontline advisors within the Virtuoso ecosystem.
  • Deliver compelling product demos, commercial proposals, and ROI-driven business cases tailored to luxury travel sellers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, commission structures, and partnership terms with mid- to large-scale agencies.
  • Represent the company at Virtuoso events, regional meetings, travel conferences, and industry gatherings.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing partner success.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and reporting on pipeline health and revenue performance.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on luxury travel trends, advisor workflows, GDS usage, and agency operations.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of sales or business development experience in the US travel industry.
  • Direct experience working with Virtuoso advisors, Virtuoso agencies, or the Virtuoso community (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of luxury travel, preferred partner programs, and advisor selling behavior.
  • Proven success in consultative sales, relationship management, and closing mid- to large-scale commercial deals.
  • Familiarity with GDS platforms, air distribution, agency operations, and supplier-advisor dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events, and Virtuoso functions as needed.
  • Existing relationships within the Virtuoso network (agency owners, managers, IC groups, or advisors) is a plus.
  • Experience selling technology, services, or operational solutions to travel agencies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases and partnership models.
  • If you’re passionate about our mission and believe you’d be a phenomenal addition to our team, don’t worry about “checking every box;
