About the Role

The Application Delivery Technical Lead provides technical guidance for configuring or modifying new business solutions and resolving architectural deficiencies. This role works with architects, developers, business users, and the Delivery Manager to align project deliverables with business processes and IT standards. The Technical Lead assists teams in understanding complex business problems and recommending solutions, serving as a technical lead throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. This role also involves developing and delivering code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions, as well as assisting with architectural diagrams.

Responsibilities

Provides consultation on business requirements and functional specifications in logical program designs, code modules, application systems, and software solutions.
Facilitates the transition to high-level design and supports the project lifecycle with input from leadership.
Reviews the development or modification of highly complex, enterprise-level software solutions.
Balances design, mentorship, and leadership with hands-on code delivery (50/50).
Develops and validates highly complex software design prototypes, ensuring adherence to company architecture standards.
Contributes to and leverages the technical direction for the development, configuration, or modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions.
Ensures documentation of related detailed functional and/or technical requirements, design, and test scripts for all enhancements.
Manages the code and implementation to production process in accordance with IT Compliance and Auditing policies.
Serves as a technical lead for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions.
Leverages partnerships with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issues.
Mentors and advises others, sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.
Provides recommendations and input on options, risks, costs, and benefits for software solution designs.
Identifies specific interfaces and methods required to support software solutions.
Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Requirements

5 years of experience in software development
3 years of experience in database technologies
5 years of experience on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
3 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
Experience in programming and software development including RPG, Java, SQL, Angular, APIs design and implementation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
3 Years of IT experience developing and implementing systems within an organization
3 Years of experience working with application and integration middleware
3 Years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
3 Years of experience working with source code control systems
3 Years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
Knowledge of RPG highly preferred.
Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and APIs are required.
Knowledge of Angular is a bonus.
