About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in People + Culture, working across diverse clients in tech, eCommerce, life sciences, and venture capital. You will gain hands-on experience with the full employee lifecycle, working directly with experienced partners on live client projects. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys building, thrives on variety, and seeks significant client exposure early in their career.

Responsibilities

Deliver client people + culture roadmaps.
Develop People and Culture materials, including setting up Notion sites, team playbooks, new starter materials, and vision/purpose launch decks.
Manage people operations, including benefits administration, memberships, onboarding, sick leave, and employee contracts.
Handle HRIS systems and learn new ones quickly.
Manage client workstreams end-to-end, ensuring timelines, priorities, and stakeholders are on track.
Communicate clearly and confidently to engage stakeholders.
Conduct research and gather information to support client work.
Provide recruitment process support and light-touch sourcing.
Run user testing on new solutions and implement feedback.
Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them or escalate as needed.

Requirements

Experience in a people team, business operations team, or consulting in a scaling environment.
Exposure across the full people and talent employee lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding to performance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to founders and executives.
Project management skills to structure work, maintain momentum, and engage stakeholders.
Structured thinking to translate complex concepts into clear content.
Data analysis skills, with comfort working with large datasets (e.g., in Excel).
Familiarity with HRIS systems or a strong aptitude to learn them quickly.
Familiarity with tools and systems used in tech start-up environments (e.g., G-Suite, Miro, Notion).
Visual communication and basic visual design skills (G-Suite, Miro, Figma).
Exceptional organization skills for managing multiple clients simultaneously.
Ability to anticipate future needs and proactively address them.
Self-starter mentality with a problem-solving approach.
Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly and efficiently.
Generalist mindset, comfortable with variety and context-switching.
Collaborative and communicative approach.
