About the Role
Lead a nursery setting within a family-run group known for high-quality early years care. This 9-12 month maternity cover contract offers a potential path to a permanent management role and emphasizes staff development and a supportive culture.
Responsibilities
- Ensure child safety, protection, and well-being in compliance with legal standards.
- Supervise, train, and support staff, including performance management and professional development.
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality EYFS curriculum.
- Ensure the setting meets all Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 9-12 months of experience as a Nursery Manager or significant experience as a Deputy Manager in a childcare setting.
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification required; Level 5 or above preferred.
- Strong understanding of EYFS, curriculum planning, child development, and Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
