About the Role
Review R&D claims for accuracy, due diligence, and compliance with HMRC legislation. Defend enquiries received from HMRC, requiring further information and evidence.
Responsibilities
- Review R&D claims prepared by Technical Consultants, including complex submissions.
- Manage enquiries to a successful resolution and guide clients through the process.
- Serve as the point of contact and technical expert for ad-hoc queries from R&D Technical Consultants and the Business Development Team.
- Support and supervise technical scoping calls for the Consulting team as needed.
- Participate in pitching to prospective clients.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including technical training and process improvements.
Requirements
- Current background in R&D with strong technical knowledge.
- Experience reviewing/submitting claim reports and defending HMRC enquiries.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements.
- Self-starter approach and mindset.
