About the Role
Rockefeller Global Investment Management (RGIM) seeks to expand its European presence by sourcing, pursuing, and closing new relationships with single family offices (SFOs) and institutional investors. This role focuses on growing AUM and revenues across public and private market investment strategies, developing key investor relationships, and delivering against revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Represent RGIM's investment capabilities credibly and effectively, highlighting differentiation and alignment with SFO and institutional investor objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing and investment teams to create collateral, thought leadership, and client communications for investor education, product positioning, and business development.
- Provide strong relationship management and client servicing to existing RGIM clients, with support from London and New York Client Service teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key investors and centers of influence, including SFOs, institutional investors, consultants, and wealth management platforms, to promote RGIM strategies.
- Continuously evaluate the product platform to identify opportunities for new strategies, structures, and vehicles that meet evolving investor demand, particularly from European SFOs and institutional investors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in investment management distribution with a proven track record of capital raising and relationship development across European SFOs and institutional investors.
- Existing network of investors, principals, CIOs, and advisors within the European SFO market.
- Experience presenting investment strategies to sophisticated investors, including SFOs, institutional asset owners, pension plans, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, and financial institutions.
- Experience operating independently across multiple European markets in a regional business development or distribution role.
- Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree; MBA, CFA, or other relevant graduate qualification is ideal.
- Previously registered as an FCA CF30 or equivalent regulated client-facing function.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one or more additional European languages is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work in the London office 5 days per week when not traveling, reflecting an office-based culture.
- Experience in a satellite distribution office is a plus.
Skills
- Investment product technical competency and intellectual credibility, with a strong understanding of public long-only + long/short and private market investment strategies across equity and fixed income.
- Proven ability to originate new business, develop client relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term mandates.
- Strong understanding of the European investment landscape, including market practices, cultures, and investor preferences across jurisdictions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, understand client needs, and effectively position RGIM's investment capabilities.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, capable of engaging credibly with SFO principals, CIOs, investment committees, and institutional decision-makers.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility.
- Results-driven, proactive, and strategic approach with disciplined and organized business development and pipeline management.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach within a lean, entrepreneurial team.
- Motivated by building businesses and working in a small, entrepreneurial team environment; hands-on approach required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and investor pipeline management tools such as Salesforce, AI models, and lead-generation tools.
