About the Role
We're building an AI operating system to absorb IT complexity and unlock new levels of speed and ambition for the world's largest companies. We are a talent-dense team focused on a generation-defining mission, and this role is critical in defining our company's security posture.
Responsibilities
- Design and build security features that ship in our product, such as BYOK per tenant, SIEM-compatible audit logs, and SSO/SCIM, working directly in the codebase alongside product engineers.
- Own enterprise security end to end, including completing customer security questionnaires, working through requirements around data handling and contractual agreements, and acting as the technical point of contact for clients’ CISOs and security teams.
- Monitor and harden our cloud environment, tracking security recommendations, driving remediation, and making pragmatic risk-acceptance calls.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts across our endpoint, cloud, and application stack.
- Build out our detection and monitoring capabilities, evolving our SIEM with effective alerting.
- Own vulnerability management end to end, including triaging, tracking, and driving issues to resolution.
- Proactively hunt for threats, from unusual behavior in our environment to emerging risks like package and supply chain compromises.
- Run and refine security scanning across our infrastructure, applications, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Shipped security features as a software engineer (e.g., BYOK per tenant, SSO/SCIM, SIEM-compatible audit logging).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security requirements, including completing security questionnaires and navigating customer requirements around data handling and contractual agreements.
- Confident acting as the technical point of contact for developers, CISOs, and clients during security due diligence conversations.
- Pragmatic judgment to balance security rigor against startup speed.
- Genuine excitement about InfoSec and motivation to keep growing.
- 3-7 years in a security engineering role.
- Comfortable reading and writing code.
- Experience working with enterprise customers is a plus.
