About the Role

This role is part of the Creative Services team, offering exposure to a fast-paced and varied environment. You will collaborate with the Creative Director and clients to define project scope, agree on deliverables, and set timelines, while leading your own projects and interacting with various sector teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ascertain scope of work/objectives and agree on deliverables and time frames with the Creative Director and clients.
  • Create new PowerPoint and Word templates for client presentations.
  • Improve presentation layouts and placemats according to guidelines, suggesting enhancements and designing alternate layouts, charts, and diagrams.
  • Provide advanced formatting support for PowerPoint and Word documents, including redesigning slides.
  • Offer Excel charting support.
  • Tailor pitch materials to specific client requirements or to convey key messages.
  • Manage key documents through editing, review, and proofing stages.
  • Assist staff with general presentation requests.
  • Layout copy, tables, and graphs for final bid submission documents.
  • Source imagery, develop and research concepts, design using existing templates, and submit for client approval.
  • Oversee final production of bid submission documents, liaising with printers and suppliers.
  • Create final PDF submissions by consolidating various documents and components.
  • Embed video, audio, and Flash components as required.
  • Assist the team with updating business materials and resources.
  • Help with general MS Office requests and template/document troubleshooting.
  • Perform image searches using photo libraries.
  • Engage in concept development and template development.
  • Liaise with printers and other suppliers for final production of printed materials.
  • Uphold corporate branding to ensure consistency with the style guide.
  • Update job tracking systems and maintain high standards of procedural work practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, and intermediate Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent eye for layout and design.
  • Experience designing, developing, and using templates.
  • Adept at problem-solving and a quick learner.
  • Preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • UI/UX experience.
  • A portfolio/book of work demonstrating previous experience and projects.
  • Print production experience.
  • Relevant experience working in a corporate in-house design/presentation/document preparation environment.
