About the Role

Join a newly created role within the GI Claims Learning Academy to shape Allianz's future AI-enabled learning strategy, architecture, and capability framework. Partner with leaders and teams to identify requirements and translate complex content into effective learning solutions. Architect, implement, and improve AI-enabled instructional design practices, frameworks, and workflows. Design engaging learning experiences across various formats, including personalized and adaptive learning. Leverage AI tools to accelerate design, content creation, and learner engagement. Develop AI-enabled learning resources and content for automation and personalization. Measure learning effectiveness and ensure solutions meet governance, accessibility, privacy, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Partner with Claims leaders, SMEs, business analysts and project teams to identify capability requirements and translate complex claims, insurance, customer, risk and regulatory content into effective learning solutions.
Architect, implement and continuously improve AI-enabled instructional design practices, frameworks, governance standards and learning workflows that support scalable capability development.
Design and develop engaging learning experiences across digital, virtual, facilitator-led, video, blended and in-the-flow-of-work environments, including personalised learning journeys, adaptive learning experiences and role-based capability pathways.
Leverage technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Articulate 360, ChatGPT, Claude Enterprise and emerging AI tools to accelerate learning design, content creation, learner engagement and performance support.
Develop AI-enabled learning resources, learning agents, knowledge assistants, AI-generated learning content and modular, reusable learning assets that support automation, personalisation, content reuse and future AI learning experiences.
Measure learning effectiveness through learner insights, stakeholder feedback and performance data, ensuring all solutions meet governance, accessibility, privacy, quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years' experience in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design or Learning & Capability, with proven experience designing learning solutions within General Insurance Claims or a similarly regulated environment.
Strong understanding of General Insurance Claims operations, capability requirements and customer outcomes, with the ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
Relevant qualifications in Learning, Instructional Design, Education or Training, complemented by experience with emerging AI learning technologies, content governance and cross-functional project delivery, with the ability to showcase a portfolio of innovative learning solutions including eLearning, blended learning, multimedia content, performance support resources and AI-enhanced learning experiences.
Advanced expertise with learning technologies including Microsoft 365 (Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint), Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, AI Assistant), Clipchamp, LMS administration and reporting platforms.
Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled and generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and other emerging technologies, to support instructional design, content development, learning innovation and learner experience creation.
Experience designing and delivering digital, blended and performance support solutions for technical, operational and customer-facing audiences, including learning pathways, capability frameworks and scalable learning experiences.
Strong stakeholder management, consulting, influencing, planning and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, rapidly adopt new technologies and drive continuous improvement.
A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
