About the Role

As a Solar & Storage Delivery Advisor, you will possess a strong drive to deliver an excellent customer outcome whilst balancing commercial needs. This role ensures technically sound and compliant Solar & Battery installations to customers. You will interpret survey data or liaise with customers to create final designs and manage logistics for a smooth installation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class customer service maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Interpret survey data from partners or liaise with customers to understand their property details.
  • Create final designs and quotes for the Sales team.
  • Create Installation briefs for the installer network detailing installation requirements and identifying/raising any issues or unusual circumstances.
  • Create scaffolding briefs to ensure appropriate scaffolding is erected prior to installation.
  • Create relevant applications to the Distribution Network Operator including relevant single line wiring diagrams.
  • Ensure the appropriate kit is ordered on a per job basis.
  • Provide excellent technical advice, responding to queries via phone and email.
  • Ensure installations are completed successfully, customers are satisfied, and any issues are resolved or escalated.
  • Own and resolve queries from customers and 3rd parties.
  • Ensure customers are communicated to and updated on all key elements of their installation journey.
  • Operate in a manner compliant with the end-to-end customer journey, associated processes and MCS requirements.
  • Work within the team to meet individual and joint sales targets.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy, margin protection and that installs are delivered ‘right first time’.
  • Utilize CRM platforms to drive business performance.
  • Provide proactive support/management of onsite issues, including kit deliveries and technical issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and managing the installation of Solar PV, inverters and batteries in domestic customer properties.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of renewable energy systems including Solar PV and Battery storage.
  • Ability to take survey data / photos and develop final solar designs for customers including schematics, string designs, ballast calculations and shading analysis.
  • Ensure all appropriate elements of the install are located in appropriate places (i.e. battery and inverter) and relevant cost elements included within an install are catered for.
  • Customer-obsessed approach ensuring a great customer experience every time.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst removing non-essential obstacles.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and solve problems on the fly.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • IT literate.
