About the Role
Beyond Imaging is seeking an Information Security Officer (all genders) to build and develop our information security management. This role reports directly to management and is crucial for our 'Imaging as a Service' model in diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Create and enhance information security policies, processes, and SOPs.
- Prepare and support risk analyses and security assessments.
- Assist in establishing structured asset management.
- Independently handle and document incidents in Akarion.
- Plan and conduct information security training and awareness programs.
- Create and implement an annual training plan.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and track corrective actions.
- Develop and document processes such as Joiner-Leaver, BCM, Incident Management, and role/permission concepts.
- Build and maintain structured ISMS documentation and a document map.
- Further develop our information security documentation and migrate relevant content.
- Collaborate closely with IT, data protection, QM, HR, medical technology, other departments, and external service providers/consultants.
Requirements
- Experience in information security, ISMS, IT security, or IT compliance.
- Basic knowledge of information security standards, ideally ISO 27001.
- Experience in risk analysis, asset management, and auditing.
- User experience with Akarion or comparable ISMS/GRC tools.
- Experience in creating and maintaining policies, processes, and documentation.
- Proactive and self-organized with a passion for building and developing structures and processes.
- Pragmatic in finding solutions and assertive.
- Strong communication, moderation, and organizational skills.
- Fluent German and proficient English (written and spoken) are essential.
- Basic IT understanding and interest in technical contexts.
- Experience handling sensitive data.
- Industry knowledge (Healthcare) is advantageous.
