About the Role
Our client is an owner-managed engineering firm with a long-standing presence in Berlin, recognized as a specialist in civil engineering, particularly in property drainage, sewer construction, development, and road construction. They focus on designing and implementing drainage systems, flood analyses, and customized rainwater management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Planning in the area of property development with a focus on drainage systems and general civil engineering services.
- Independent processing of projects in service phases 1-5 according to HOAI.
- Planning of municipal, commercial, and private property drainage system projects of various sizes.
- Creation of preliminary and detailed designs, primarily for property drainage, followed by rainwater management or civil engineering.
- Dimensioning and design of various drainage systems.
- Creation of technical drawings and planning documents in CAD.
- Coordination with clients, authorities, and internal project participants.
- Assistance in the creation of cost calculations and specifications, and support in on-site construction supervision.
Requirements
- Civil engineering degree with a focus on urban water management/environmental engineering or comparable technical qualification.
- Professional experience in planning civil engineering drainage systems.
- Knowledge in the area of property drainage is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D is desirable.
- Knowledge of technical regulations and standards, including DWA, DIN.
- Independent and meticulous work style, communicative.
- Teamwork, reliability, and willingness to perform.
- Native-level German language skills.
