About the Role
Gopuff is seeking a Junior Operations Supervisor to ensure high operational standards at our MFCs, delivering timely and accurate service to customers. This role is crucial for reshaping the retail landscape, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Lead the warehouse team during shifts by example and manage staff.
- Train new team members on processes and products.
- Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders.
- Support the management of Delivery Partners for a smooth delivery experience.
- Contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items.
- Receive vendor products, verify counts against purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
- Put away products into inventory locations and conduct cycle counts.
- Manage waste, compliance, and the partnership with TooGoodToGo.
- Maintain warehouse compliance, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operating standards.
- Support onsite Health & Safety compliance and testing.
Requirements
- Experience working in a restaurant, retail, or warehouse environment.
- General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and honesty.
- Effective communication skills.
- Organized, team-oriented, positive attitude, and helpful.
- Flexible and available to cover shifts during operational hours (7am - 3am).
