About the Role

This role involves building relationships with prospective students, parents, peers, academics, and management. Responsibilities include conducting campus tours, managing audition schedules, promoting campus life via social media, organizing on-site events, and building relationships with local schools and colleges. The role requires capturing and sharing real-time content, understanding education pathways, and organizing workshops and virtual events. The Campus Recruitment Officer will work proactively and remotely from their line manager, supporting the ICMP and SAE UK Access and Participation Plan (APP) and promoting higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all prospective students are given an engaging campus tour, tailored to reflect their areas of interest.
  • Oversee and help manage a busy interview and audition schedule for prospective students.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with National Course Advisors regarding lead contact.
  • Proactively manage existing educational partnerships and lead efforts to establish new ones.
  • Organize and deliver workshops for educational partner school and college groups, including liaison, communication, and data recording for APP activity.
  • Capture onsite and off-site event content for social media channels.
  • Facilitate the creation of local content in conjunction with marketing.
  • Attend higher education/careers fairs as a representative of ICMP and SAE, providing information and advice.
  • Drive the wider team's delivery of Information, Advice and Guidance talks in schools and colleges.
  • Manage and build the internal database for educational partner teachers and advisors.
  • Support the hosting of subject taster events on campus.
  • Answer day-to-day enquiries from potential school college partners via phone, email, and in person, consistently using systems to record interactions.
  • Develop and assist with the set-up, delivery, and pack-down of Open Days and other internal and external events.
  • Manage the 'access' elements of the ICMP and SAE UK APP, including running workshops and recording data.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with wider staff on campus to ensure support for events.
  • Work collaboratively across ICMP and SAE as required to meet objectives in a flexible manner.
  • Undertake other duties and tasks as reasonably requested.

  • Confident and able to think proactively to overcome challenges.
  • Flexible working, evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to positively adapt to working arrangements and support the wider recruitment team.
  • Ability to positively step in and support call handling whenever required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to obtain a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
