About the Role

ACCA is seeking an experienced and proactive Strategy Development Lead to join the Strategy team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is instrumental in performing strategic reviews, ensuring business model alignment, and driving the evolution and implementation of ACCA's strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead high-quality strategic reviews to test ACCA’s strategy and address key challenges.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct strategic reviews and deep dives into opportunities, challenges, or blockers.
Analyze ACCA’s value chain and business model, ensuring alignment with ACCA’s strategy.
Assess ACCA’s financial model, operating structure, and value propositions.
Create and facilitate engaging strategy sessions for the Executive Board and cross-functional groups.
Facilitate understanding of ACCA’s capability model, strengths, and gaps.
Inform and support ACCA’s strategic execution, including operations alignment and innovation.
Support colleagues within the Strategy Development & Alignment team on the strategic plan.

Requirements

Significant experience in strategic thinking, strategy development and implementation, and business model evolution.
Ability to make informed judgments based on facts/data.
Develop objective, well-balanced discussion points and recommendations.
Possess personal presence and strong interpersonal, networking, and active listening skills.
Ability to positively influence, guide, challenge, and collaborate on strategic thinking with senior stakeholders.
Understanding of integrated thinking principles.
Curious and astute, adept at pushing boundaries to challenge the status quo.
Ability to communicate analysis and recommendations clearly and succinctly.
Build compelling presentations with tailored content and creative visual designs.
Experience in designing and running workshops with cross-functional and senior teams.
Ability to work in partnership/cross-functionally, recognizing diverse perspectives.
Delivery focused, able to work with agility, and keep things simple.
