About the Role
As a Solutions Consultant, you will be instrumental in demonstrating Stream's suitability for clients, bridging the gap between Sales, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Partnerships, and Customers. Your role involves leveraging product expertise, technical discovery, and commercial acumen to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and secure advantageous deals.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT systems, mapping data flows, requirements, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Design robust solutions, translating discovery findings into credible and deliverable plans.
- Build stakeholder confidence through clear demonstrations and presentations of integrations, data models, financial flows, settlement models, security, and technical architecture.
- Make decisions in ambiguous situations, addressing custom requirements, stress-testing assumptions, and recommending paths based on risk, trade-offs, and customer outcomes.
- Connect technical aspects to commercial value, explaining Stream's fit within a customer's ecosystem, its differentiators, and the rationale behind recommended approaches.
- Orchestrate the end-to-end deal process, coordinating internal teams, partners, and customers from pre-sales through implementation, supporting due diligence, and maintaining clear documentation of decisions, assumptions, and risks.
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions function by developing reusable frameworks, enhancing partner knowledge, and documenting learnings for team improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Implementation, or a similar technical, customer-facing role.
- Ability to quickly structure ambiguous problems.
- A proactive approach to understanding systems and their dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Skill in explaining complex ideas clearly through verbal, written, and visual communication.
- A combination of technical curiosity and commercial judgment.
- Constructively challenge customers or colleagues when necessary.
- Understanding the balance between necessary technical depth and potential slowdowns.
- A collaborative mindset, willing to share knowledge.

- $100,000-$125,000 base + Bonus, Equity & Benefits
