About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of equity research analysts focused on the Healthcare sector.
- Set coverage priorities and ensure consistent, high-quality output across the team.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven research culture.
- Work with Analysts on professional development and monitor KPIs.
- Represent CFRA’s fundamental voice on the Healthcare sector, articulating a clear investment thesis supported by data.
- Monitor all reporting for the Healthcare sector to ensure timely research delivery.
- Guide the development of financial models, valuation analyses, and investment theses.
- Review industry reports, company notes, and thematic pieces, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Serve as the primary source of sector intelligence, providing top-down opinions and key catalysts.
- Provide timely and actionable insights to clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with company management teams and industry stakeholders.
- Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the Healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, strategy, and technical research to align research thesis and overall strategy.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and cross-sector collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of equity research experience, with significant exposure to the Healthcare sector.
- Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven leadership experience managing analyst teams is ideal.
- High ethical standards and commitment to research integrity.
