About the Role
Take ownership of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition function, developing and implementing strategy, improving recruitment processes, and leading a geographically distributed team to support company growth. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on recruitment, particularly for senior, technical, and hard-to-fill positions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Own recruitment processes, technology, reporting, candidate experience, employer brand, and recruitment performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the technology-focused TA team across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
- Partner with executives and hiring managers to understand talent needs.
- Recruit for senior, technical, specialist, sales, and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Build sustainable talent pipelines.
- Review and improve sourcing channels, recruitment technology, processes, and data.
- Implement AI and automation to enhance recruitment efficiency.
- Ensure consistency across multiple countries while respecting market differences.
- Improve the Employer Value Proposition and employer brand messaging.
- Establish and utilize TA metrics to improve quality, speed, and effectiveness.
- Challenge hiring processes that are unclear, unrealistic, or unnecessarily complicated.
- Collaborate with the Talent Director and hiring managers in the US-based parent company.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading an internal Talent Acquisition or recruitment function, ideally within technology.
- Experience developing and executing a company-wide TA strategy.
- Strong leadership skills, including managing geographically dispersed teams.
- A track record of finding and recruiting complex, specialist, and hard-to-find talent.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence to partner with senior executives.
- Strong direct sourcing capability.
- A commercial, data-driven approach to recruitment.
- Experience working across different countries and cultures.
- A track record of building strong relationships with hiring managers and executives.
