About the Role
As Product Lead at LIZ, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and conception through prioritization, development, testing, release, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with an established Product and Development team, acting as the central point of contact between management, development, customer success, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and advance the product strategy and roadmap, translating business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities into clear priorities, MVPs, and development stages.
- Take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives, covering discovery, conception, requirements, user flows, prototyping, development, testing, release, and ongoing enhancement.
- Manage the product backlog and delivery, ensuring clear priorities, efficient planning, refinement, and pragmatic processes in collaboration with the Dev Lead.
- Translate customer and business feedback, requirements, and new use cases into scalable product solutions, working closely with Customer Success and Sales.
- Actively shape AI-assisted product development and establish effective tools and workflows for discovery, research, requirements, design, prototyping, documentation, and testing.
- Coordinate new third-party integrations, from requirements gathering and partner communication to implementation and rollout.
- Provide leadership for Development & Product, foster employee development, promote team ownership, and shape the Product and Development organization with the Dev Lead.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience in product management for a digital or SaaS product, such as Product Lead, Senior Product Manager, or a similar role.
- Solid experience with product discovery, requirements engineering, roadmap management, and complex business logic.
- Proficiency with Jira.
- Experience working closely with software developers and a good technical understanding of APIs and integrations.
- Experience with UX/UI, user flows, and prototyping, ideally with Figma.
- AI affinity and practical experience with AI tools, with a desire to establish new AI workflows in product management.
- Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to set clear priorities and confidently make decisions.
- Initial experience in leading and developing employees is a plus, but not required.
- Very good German and English language skills.
