About the Role
Farm Family is seeking a Programmer Analyst II to join the Information Technology team. This role will contribute to delivering high-quality service and business results by supporting strategic priorities and enhancing operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to communicate with business representatives.
- Understands simple business requirements and relates them to supporting system requirements, producing simple technical specifications.
- Creates readable, reliable, and maintainable code and configuration changes for Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Maintains and enhances the relational database design underpinning Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Performs unit and system testing using approved test plans and scripts.
- Reviews test results with the business and makes necessary adjustments.
- Follows proper controls and collaborates with IT Operations to migrate code between server environments.
- Identifies and rectifies coding errors quickly with initiative and a proactive approach.
- Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation.
- Responds promptly to production issues and shares responsibility for supporting the claims administration product through on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a major in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- One to two years of experience.
- Strong skills in software design, development, modification, and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
