About the Role

This is a highly strategic financial planning and analysis role at Rocket Now, requiring close partnership with business leaders to develop operating and financial plans, drive decisions, and track performance across growth, margins, OP, and cashflows. The role will also support modeling for new launches, supplier negotiations, and customer analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage and own a fast-growing P&L, including partner selection, delivery logistics, and marketing schemes.
Partner with business, operations, and tech leaders to achieve company-wide goals.
Analyze end-to-end food delivery service operations, identify variances and root causes, and drive business solutions.
Forecast, track, and update analysis and modeling with large datasets.
Define key KPIs, identify improvement opportunities through predictive analysis, and take timely actions.
Contribute to automatic report generation using business intelligence tools for continuous efficiency improvement.
Improve and maintain existing dashboards.

Requirements

Native level Japanese fluency.
Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced organization.
Team management experience.
High level of process orientation and attention to detail.
Experience in leading and developing new financial processes, models, and tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance leaders.
Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and tell business stories.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
Strong analytical thinking, including problem statement analysis, 5 Whys, and data-backed solutions.
Experience in establishing and managing KPIs.
