Responsibilities
- Processes, researches, reconciles, and analyzes key financial data to meet standards.
- Maintains and trains Accounting Specialists on procedures and reinforces processes for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
- Verifies completeness and consistency of financial transactions to ensure policy adherence.
- Serves as a client resource for processed transactions and resolves cash posting exceptions.
- Generates, reviews, and distributes reports for data accuracy and compliance.
- Prepares, trains, and engages in team meetings for continuous development.
- Evaluates transactions and alerts management to potential fraud or financial risks.
- Participates in meetings relevant to the area of responsibility to monitor risk factors.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree - Required
- 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
- Candidates for this role may not be located in CA.
- This position is available for US based applicants only.
