About the Role

State Street Corporation’s Alpha’s Professional Development Program is a two-year leadership program designed to develop entry-level employees within State Street Alpha through four 6-month rotational assignments. The program provides key learning and growth opportunities within participating business lines or functional teams, along with a deeper understanding of State Street Alpha. Upon completion, successful participants will be placed into permanent roles within State Street Alpha.

Responsibilities

  • Intensive orientation and training in Boston, including business and financial acumen, soft-skills, and case studies.
  • Multiple cross-functional and cross-business job assignments to accelerate development of critical industry knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Access to training courses on Alpha and essential business skills.
  • Project management.
  • Operational and technology data gathering, configuration, mapping, and analysis.
  • Development of procedures and rollout plans.
  • Development and communication of strategies, processes, innovative technology, client progress, client reference materials, financial reports, and project/program information.
  • Potential client/strategic partner interaction.
  • Assisting with client onboarding and implementation activities, gathering/assessing data, and facilitating progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Enhancement efforts related to technical and procedural infrastructure, business analysis, planning, and execution.
  • Evaluating competitor and prospective partner market data and assisting with strategies to recommend and implement partnerships or upgrade infrastructure.

  • Soft skills preferred but not required.
  • Graduating no later than the spring of 2026.
  • B.S. Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar.
