About the Role
As a Kitchenhand and Cleaner at Kinross Care Centre Beach House, you will bring warmth and care to residents through food and high-quality cleaning services. Your responsibilities include keeping the kitchen organised, supporting meal preparation, and fostering positive interactions, contributing to a comfortable and home-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
- Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
- Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values.
- Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice.
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others.
- Collect all temperature and cleaning records for the week and place in managers basket for checking and signing.
- Record any dietary changes on master print out.
- Check on stock requirements, e.g. bread, milk, OJ, yoghurt and change as necessary.
- As required replenish shopping supplies which are specific and not currently available from usual supplier.
Requirements
- Evidence of Current Flu vaccination per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
- Willingness to attend 2 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
