About the Role
Sony Music Publishing is seeking a visionary Enterprise Product Lead to spearhead a multi-year program to reshape core technology and business processes, preparing systems for emerging technologies like AI and equipping operations for the evolving music business. This role is key to translating enterprise strategy into scalable, value-driven products, focusing on royalty accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise product strategy, including planning, roadmap development, and lifecycle management.
- Translate enterprise goals into an outcome-driven product roadmap.
- Drive a discovery-led process to identify and validate high-value business problems.
- Develop and champion business cases with clear value propositions, ROI, and success metrics.
- Monitor market and technology trends (including AI) to inform product strategy.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Develop and govern a strong product development lifecycle with consistent standards.
- Translate desired business outcomes into actionable product requirements and KPIs.
- Mentor team members on balancing strategic thinking and pragmatic execution.
- Partner with senior leaders to align on priorities and manage competing needs.
- Act as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution.
- Deliver value incrementally and transparently to build organizational trust.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs measuring business outcomes and value realization.
- Step in to unblock teams, refine requirements, and resolve delivery risks.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product management with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing product teams in complex organizations.
- Experience incubating new ideas and researching market and customer needs.
- Strong financial acumen with experience building and defending business cases.
- Proven success delivering transformative change in risk-aware operational environments.
- Hands-on leadership style, comfortable with details while empowering the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to surface, prioritize, and balance competing stakeholder priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leveraging data to inform decisions.
- Strong understanding of modern product development.
- Familiarity with the developing use of AI services in the product design lifecycle.
- Periodic travel required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours.
