About the Role
Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a Foreman for their London Construction & Forestry location to oversee daily operations, ensure quality repair work, and advise on technician training.
Responsibilities
- Organize work performed and ensure quality control.
- Supervise the work of service technicians.
- Maintain an organized, clean work environment.
- Advise and mentor technicians.
- Demonstrate commitment to customer service and service excellence.
- Communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel.
- Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule.
- Converse with customers and operators via phone, email, or in person.
- Manage costs and ensure department profitability.
- Open and close work orders, and prepare work orders for warranty.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset.
- Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required.
- Experience in a service department setting required.
- Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
- Willingness to be available after-hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
