About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a passionate and adaptable individual to join the Analytics Solution Engineering team. This role supports the Commercial business across AMER (Financial Services) and Canada, focusing on driving the technical sale of Analytics and Tableau solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with customers, Sales, Product, and Professional Services to turn data into action and help customers connect with their own customers in new ways. This role is for someone naturally curious, adaptable, and passionate about AI and our agentic future, balancing technical depth with sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Align innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts through masterful storytelling.
  • Partner with clients and collaborate with internal team members and C-level client contacts to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions.
  • Engage in business development, operations, and IT strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for driving innovative solutions and improving business performance.
  • Solve ambiguous and sophisticated business problems using research and business assessment capabilities.
  • Communicate and evaluate solution options, driving consensus among key collaborators.
  • Demonstrate through software demos and rapid prototyping how connected experiences come to life with Salesforce Solutions.
  • Deliver executive-level software demonstrations.
  • Construct future-state customer journey strategies.
  • Develop long-term IT roadmaps.
  • Assist customers, Account Executives, and Professional Services teams with discovery, analysis, and recommendation of strategic solutions.
  • Deliver transformational pitches based on live product demonstrations to validate solutions.
  • Discover customer business needs and position the best Salesforce solution to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and present customized solution demonstrations and POCs focused on Salesforce products.
  • Convey a deep understanding of the customer's architecture as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions.
  • Orchestrate and lead cross-functional solutions guides, aligning them to the opportunity strategy.
  • Develop and deliver the story of the customer experience aided by Salesforce technologies.
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications.
  • Travel based on territory alignment and region (up to 50%).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Tableau or similar applications, relational database, and web technology.
  • Exceptional oral, written, presentation, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be adaptable and work as part of a team to solve technical problems in a dynamic and fast-moving industry.

  • $157,640 - $210,910 annually
  • $173,460 - $231,980 per year (California, New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC)
