About the Role
Lead projects that connect technology, operations, and business improvement across a diverse Australian group. KGIT is looking for an experienced Business & IT Project Manager to join our growing PMO and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of technology and business projects. This role involves working across businesses and manufacturing sites, delivering projects ranging from new site IT establishments and technology upgrades through to system integrations and broader business improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large Business and IT projects from planning through to implementation.
- Coordinate business teams, IT specialists, site leaders, and external vendors.
- Own project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.
- Provide clear, concise updates to executives and Steering Committees.
- Identify risks early, resolve roadblocks, and keep delivery on track.
- Manage vendors against agreed timelines, quality, and cost.
- Support business readiness, communications, training, and adoption.
- Work across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
Requirements
- 5–7 years’ experience delivering Business and IT projects within medium to large organisations.
- Strong project governance and stakeholder management capability.
- Ability to bring structure to complexity.
- Ability to hold people accountable.
- Ability to communicate confidently at every level of the business.
