About the Role
This role focuses on bridging emerging AI technologies with sales and go-to-market efforts, auditing and scaling AI initiatives, and promoting guidelines across the organization. It's a senior individual contributor position with significant influence, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, building capabilities, and field leadership.
Responsibilities
- Audit existing AI initiatives and build a centralized inventory.
- Evaluate initiatives for performance, scalability, and strategic fit.
- Define governance protocols for data usage, model risk, vendor selection, and responsible AI.
- Contribute to strategic AI portfolio decisions, including intake, prioritization, and build-versus-buy evaluations.
- Define the operational blueprint for coding, configuring, and deploying agentic workflows.
- Act as a strategic liaison between field operations and internal engineering groups.
- Define and evolve the AI tool and architecture landscape.
- Partner with GTM, sales ops, and internal technical teams to execute strategy.
- Deliver AI enablement for the field team, including training and showcasing proven workflows.
- Build and run an AI Ambassador Program to foster momentum and gather field insights.
- Develop role-based AI learning journeys and drive program execution.
- Define and implement a change management and communications strategy.
- Map AI deployments to core business metrics like pipeline growth and win rates.
- Partner with operations to build measurement infrastructure for AI adoption and impact.
- Monitor the external AI landscape and provide forward-looking perspectives to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years in mid-market or enterprise sales strategy, GTM operations, management consulting, or AI/digital transformation at a leading SaaS or AI-native firm.
- Demonstrated track record delivering AI or digital transformation programs with measurable behavior change in large, distributed sales organizations.
- Hands-on AI proficiency, including working knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks.
- Comfortable evaluating and pressure-testing technical solutions.
- Proven ability to partner with technical collaborators across IT, data engineering, and full-stack development.
- Outstanding executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to move a large field organization and engage VP/C-suite collaborators.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
