About the Role
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, delivering massive amounts of compute faster than anyone else. We are seeking a security professional to build the entire security program from scratch, defending the most valuable and targeted artifacts in technology: AI model weights. This role offers the unique opportunity to secure the frontier of AI, with a threat surface measured in gigawatts.
Responsibilities
- Track nation-state and advanced criminal actors targeting frontier AI infrastructure.
- Develop intelligence from actor tooling, infrastructure patterns, and tradecraft to inform program detection and hunting.
- Build and operate pipelines for collecting, enriching, and correlating indicators.
- Integrate intelligence into the detection and agentic triage stack for instant operationalization.
- Drive intelligence-led hunts across enterprise, cloud, identity, data center IT, and OT telemetry.
- Convert hunt findings into high-fidelity detections authored as code.
- Perform hands-on analysis of malware, phishing infrastructure, and attacker tooling.
- Extract indicators, TTPs, and attribution signals to feed detection engineering and incident response.
- Curate the inbound intelligence pipeline from commercial feeds, open source, government, and peer relationships.
- Prioritize intelligence based on the program's threat model.
- Build and maintain external intelligence-sharing relationships with ISACs, peer security teams, and government partners.
Requirements
- Tracked specific nation-state or advanced criminal actors as a core job function.
- Deep understanding of actor tooling, infrastructure, and targeting to anticipate future moves.
- Production-quality Python (or similar) programming skills.
- Experience building automation and data pipelines end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with malware, infrastructure, and log analysis.
- Authored quality detection logic (YARA, Sigma, or SIEM-native queries) that shipped to production.
- Experience collaborating with detection engineers and incident responders.
- Ability to distill complex campaigns into actionable decisions and next steps.
- Active network in the threat intelligence community (bonus).
- Experience defending large-scale GPU or AI compute infrastructure, data centers, or multi-tenant cloud environments (bonus).
- Experience applying LLMs or agentic tooling to accelerate collection, enrichment, and analysis (bonus).
- Public research, conference talks, or open-source contributions in the CTI space (bonus).
