About the Role
Carta is seeking talented Solutions Consultants to join their EU Investors team, focusing on clients in Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Private Credit Funds. This role involves collaborating with the Go-To-Market team to identify and build solutions for clients, acting as an expert on Carta's platform and services, and providing consultative advice to improve fund operations and LP communications.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the Go-To-Market team on calls with investment firms to understand customer needs and pain points.
- Scope solutions and communicate business impact to key decision makers.
- Lead the technical aspects of sales cycles and partnership conversations in collaboration with Fund Administration and Product teams.
- Provide product and fund accounting knowledge, including waterfall, financial reporting, and analytics.
- Interface with prospects and strategic channel partners to scope requirements and build confidence in Carta’s products.
- Lead technical demos of Carta products.
- Drive meaningful progress towards a team quarterly revenue goal by providing product and technical financial expertise.
- Contribute to the Carta product roadmap based on conversations with prospects.
- Provide technical coaching to members of the Go-To-Market team.
- Support the Business Development team at partner offsite seminars and events.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting or corporate finance.
- In-depth understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Private Credit).
- Strong understanding of Venture Capital or Private Equity, particularly back office fund operations and fund administration.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in software products built to solve technical financial problems.
- Interest in talking to prospective customers and helping them solve operational problems.
