About the Role

The Engineer of Projects (EOP) will serve as the main liaison between Engineering Teams and Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals Project Management partners, managing all committed Engineering deliverables and services for an assigned project portfolio. This role is crucial for leading meetings on scope, schedule, risks, and project budgets for Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals Projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main Engineering Department point of contact with TB&T Department partners in project delivery.
  • Manage the performance of engineering teams regarding project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate assigned staff to align with industry engineering and project management practices.
  • Report project performance on schedule milestones and budget compliance to Senior EOP, Engineering Program Executive.
  • Lead project teams in troubleshooting issues, developing corrective actions, implementing new initiatives, and fast-tracking projects.
  • Collaborate with TB&T Department partners to evaluate and advance project delivery mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with TB&T Department partners on developing Project Management Plans, scopes, engineering budgets, and schedule forecasts.
  • Ensure prompt and effective communication among engineering teams, stakeholders, and senior staff, including documented meeting minutes, baseline scopes, project changes, and presentations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in progressively more responsible positions in the development and delivery of A/E projects, transportation infrastructure and technology projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse work groups of technical/project management professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing project teams and stakeholders.
  • Possess superior interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • Minimum: $ 119,678
  • Midpoint: $ 155,582
  • Maximum: $ 191,490
