About the Role
Information Providers, Inc. is seeking a part-time 1099 Insurance Property Inspector in Syracuse, NY. This field-based role offers a flexible, independent schedule for individuals who enjoy working on the road and managing their own time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of homes and businesses.
- Capture detailed photographs and document key features for underwriting decisions.
- Assess property conditions and identify potential hazards or concerns.
- Gather accurate data to support underwriting decisions.
- Compile thorough, high-quality underwriting survey reports.
- Submit reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently while managing own schedule and workload.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate measuring, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, smartphones, and Windows-based laptops.
- Ability to complete administrative work remotely.
