About the Role

The Inflight Services Crew Manager provides local base and concourse leadership to Endeavor Air Flight Attendants while supporting the daily efficient operation of the crew base. This role influences and maintains a positive employee culture at the base consistent with the culture at Endeavor Air.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and reinforce a proactive safety culture.
  • Identify, intervene, and report safety concerns to support employees and Endeavor’s safety culture.
  • Ensure Flight Attendants’ qualifications with regard to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Company Policy, Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), FAA Regulations, and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Strategize and track team operational performance metrics with regard to dependability, work performance, attendance, delays, and customer service scores.
  • Ensure Flight Attendants report operational situations and events accurately and timely.
  • Evaluate Flight Attendant on-board performance for regulatory compliance and customer service satisfaction during inflight operations.
  • Support Flight Attendants and provide resources for uniforms, payroll, EDV Intranet, SkyPros, jury duty, leaves, etc.
  • Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities on a rotating basis, requiring 24/7 availability by phone.
  • Facilitate drug/alcohol testing in collaboration with administrative staff and Base Managers.
  • Engage in employee recognition and Endeavor rewards programs.
  • Assist Base Manager with coordinating employee events.
  • Build relationships and interact with Flight Attendants by being present on the concourse and in the crew room.
  • Inspire Flight Attendants and model behavior to achieve customer satisfaction, on-time performance, safety, and completion factor goals.
  • Supervise and assess Flight Attendants by providing feedback, support, coaching, and/or course correction.
  • Participate in investigations and interviews as needed for alleged violations of company policy or federal regulations.
  • Responsible for conflict management, documenting, performance management, and coaching.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews, collaborate with Base Manager on findings, and provide input on outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support for probationary Flight Attendants and follow established probationary program requirements.
  • Foster consistent Flight Attendant communication and follow up.
  • Relay company and departmental information to Flight Attendants.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and interaction with union representatives.
  • Provide support and be back up as necessary for Administrative Assistant.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Supervise Flight Attendants at assigned base location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and related experience.
  • 2 years of experience providing work direction in a leadership/supervisory role, including motivating, mentoring, and building positive relationships with employees.
  • 3 years of experience in airline operations, in-flight, flight operations or similar field preferred.
  • Ability to achieve Flight Attendant qualification and certification upon request.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under company insurance coverage, position requires use of company vehicle(s).
  • PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Employee Contract Administration preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
