About the Role
The AI Governance Analyst is a critical role within Dentsu's AI Governance Concierge Service, responsible for researching, documenting, and submitting AI product adoption requests. This role ensures that business teams have a clear and efficient path through the governance process, enabling safe and effective AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research on AI tools, platforms, and vendors.
- Build comprehensive risk profiles across data privacy, security, model transparency, contractual terms, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk.
- Gather evidence such as security certifications, privacy policies, and contractual documentation.
- Verify solution fit and identify existing approvals or preferred alternatives.
- Document the business case, proposed solution, and rationale for each request.
- Frame and present submissions with clarity and precision for reviewing functions.
- Create and own submission forms and supporting documentation.
- Validate proposed products against Dentsu's AI, security, and data protection policies.
- Update the AI Concierge Program Tracker with accurate progress.
- Collaborate with the Governance Engineer during the review process for additional research or clarification.
- Contribute to the improvement of research methodology, submission process, and documentation standards.
- Identify recurring research gaps and surface them with recommended process improvements.
- Partner with Global Enterprise Technology to ensure project-level process and policies are met.
- Flag new request types or emerging technology concepts that could impact policy.
- Serve as an active member of AI communities and working groups within Dentsu.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technology governance, risk analysis, compliance, vendor management, consulting, or a research-intensive function within a large organization.
- Strong written communication skills; able to synthesize technical and legal information into clear, accurate, submission-ready documentation tailored to multiple distinct audiences.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI capabilities, and the risk and compliance landscape around AI adoption.
- Demonstrated process discipline — comfortable operating within structured workflows, managing handoffs, and maintaining accurate records across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage multiple research workstreams simultaneously without letting accuracy or completeness slip.
- Proactive and collaborative; able to operate independently on structured tasks while staying closely aligned with the Service Lead and Governance Engineer.
