About the Role
This role is responsible for implementing Quality Strategy throughout the supplier base, interfacing with various departments to achieve the highest received product quality. The position focuses on developing and implementing a Continuous Quality Improvement Strategy within the supply base.
Responsibilities
- Root cause identification and implementation of corrective actions for supplier defects.
- Drive cost reductions through manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities knowledge.
- Serve as the focal point for inbound/outbound technical/quality communication on production parts.
- Support Engineering DFMA initiatives by collecting Supplier Cpk data.
- Manage APQP Part Qualification for all production material.
- Oversee and support the resolution of supplier quality issues using 8D/6Sigma methodologies.
- Manage Supplier Quality Metrics, Score Cards & Audit Programs.
- Develop and maintain project Road Maps to communicate focus areas and improvement initiatives.
- Implement inspection methods with Quality Assurance to identify defects and validate corrective actions.
- Support administration and disposition of defective material receipts.
- Represent the supplier voice in engineering design improvement, defect reduction, and cost-out initiatives.
- Participate in the development of a quality plan for company conformance to ISO or QS standards.

Salary/Compensations
- $60,000.00 - $93,750.00
